How to fit LIMITS
Step by step guide to fitting LIMITS
What you need…
- LIMITS power meter
- A pedal spanner
- An appropriate sized hex key (8mm for LIMITS)
- Grease
Remove your pedals
Start by removing your pedals from the bike. Remember that the left-hand pedal has
a reverse thread so both pedals will tighten in the same direction – or as you pedal.
Apply grease to threads of LIMITS
Check your left and right
Fit LIMITS
LIMITS are left and right specific and will have an L or R printed on them to show which is which.
It’s vital not to get the LIMITS mixed up, as they have different threads, and trying to attach the wrong
one will mean permanent damage that may end up with you having to replace the LIMITS or the cranks.
Fit pedals
AS with LIMITS, pedals are left and right specific and will have an L or R printed on them to show which is which.
It’s vital not to get the pedals mixed up, as they have different threads, and trying to attach the wrong
one will mean permanent damage that may end up with you having to replace the pedals or LIMITS.
Take one of your pedals and insert the thread into the LIMITS correct side.
Start turning the pedal by hand, but when it becomes tight you will need to finish it off with a hex key or pedal spanner.
